Abstract:

Comments on his careers in journalism and in politics, as member of California Assembly; his role in California water legislation and the evolution of the Central Valley Project; his role in the Earl Warren gubernatorial campaign, 1942; service on Highway Commission, State Personnel Board, etc. With this: scrapbook of clippings; and papers (reports, clippings, memoranda, etc.) re state water problems, State Personnel Board, etc., providing additional documentation (one carton). The Whole: 2 v. and one carton.
